Street Works Street Trencher Rebranded At Tigercat

Tigercat tci 730 street trencher

For more than two decades, we at Street Works have been collaborating with Tigercat Industries to develop and market a prime mover and attachment combination designed for the specific task of opening street surfaces to access underground utility infrastructure. Throughout the years, we have had several iterations of the product.

We are excited to announce that the current model, the T726G with 370 horsepower, will now be known as the TCi 730 street trencher. Tigercat Industries will continue to build and support the product, while we at Street Works will remain the sole distributor in North America. The rebranding aligns with our partner's overall product marketing strategy and helps clarify the distinction between forestry and other industrial segments, as it is an on-road product in the construction and utility sector.

Our managing member, Brian Marksohn, expressed his joy in our partnership and stated, "Street Works, Inc is celebrating its 23rd year working with Tigercat Industries and is fast approaching the milestone of the 50th street trencher unit sold in the northeast utility marketplace." He also praised the street trencher's reputation as a cost-effective tool for underground utility installations and expressed his excitement for the next 50 units with the continued support and dedication from our friends at Tigercat.

About the TCi 730

With the TCi 730, contractors can easily and effectively access under-road utilities using only one machine. This specially designed equipment is capable of cutting trenches of different widths and depths in both asphalt and steel-reinforced concrete road surfaces. The attachment trenches below grade, pulverizes the material, and backfills in a single pass, eliminating the need for several traditional operations. After trenching, digging can commence right away. There are no expenses for disposal, and no backfilling is necessary.
